Corporate social responsibility

Over the last few years, social responsibility has become a hot item when creating and organizing events. We advise our clients about creative and authentic ways of expressing their sense of social responsibility during internal and external events.
& Boertje is itself committed to a number of social projects. For a few years now, we have organized a fund-raising gala in association with the Disability Sports Fund (Fonds Gehandicaptensport). This annual gala raises a substantial sum of money for disability sport in the Netherlands.
We find projects like this both inspiring and revitalizing.

Dechesne & Boertje climate neutral

Dechesne & Boertje is a climate-neutral operation. This means that our CO2 emissions are compensated by Climate Neutral Group CO2 reduction projects. In addition, Dechesne & Boertje can offer clients a totally climate-neutral event. As much of the event as possible will be organized along green lines. The remaining CO2 balance will be calculated and compensated by investing in climate projects. These are projects in which fossil fuels are replaced with renewable and clean energy, and which therefore contribute to combating climate change.

The Event Talent Foundation

Dechesne & Boertje is keen to help professionalize the events branch. D&B has an active role in the branch organization (IDEA) and many D&B staff teach event marketing to young talents at universities and colleges.
Dechesne & Boertje has set up the Event Talent Foundation, which raises funds to train and nurture up-and-coming event talent.
