Friesland Bank…with an eye to the future and respect for the past

On ‘Whit Tuesday’ (14 June), Dechesne & Boertje in association with the Friesland Bank organized the 6th edition of the Opstalstreffen for 400 of Friesland Bank’s business relations. This relation event is held every year on the bank’s country estate: Landgoed Oranjewoud.

Jort Kelder (who plays a major role in the bank’s advertising campaign) opened the event by uncorking a bottle of champagne with a sword. He then interviewed the new Chairman of the Executive Board. The evening gave the guests an opportunity to renew old acquaintances and forge new contacts. The Friesian fado singer Nynke Laverman gave a beautiful performance.

But the highlight of the evening took place at dusk. History merged with the future when spectacular video mapping literally brought the estate to life. Projections around the estate illustrated a mediaeval tale set in the days when the Opstalstreffen first evolved. The guests went home brimming with admiration.
